jsut a lightweight suspension stuff and pulled out some of the unnecessary items in the car.

Yeah I know, i'm getting my suspension in a week or two. I got the rear seats out with the seat belts, going to take out my AC remove my Pass side seat, then get a kirky seat for the driver. The end of the season I should be able to get a 9 inch or 12 bolt. I guess your spool correct? This is my only mode of transportation so I get to wild with weight reduction.

if its you only transportation id leave the a/c and heat in the car. yea i have a spool and its fine it you run crap tires that spin easily and keep the p/s.

nope sorry bro, i deducted each thing i took out and its close to 3150 still
maby after the brakes and stock hood goes away i can get into the low 3100's all the dash, braces, pannels, interior carpet and stuff were still in it

4th gear at about 6800on a 7200 limiter but hope to be crossing at close to 7000 in a few weeks :D

Fierras are cheap as hell and i was wondering if i could put a 4.6 in it and put a Kenny Belle in on it and rear end, gears, heads etc. Do you think i can hit 10's or even fit the motor in it? i have a 99 camaro ss with a m6 and have that trex cam along with everything that was mentioned on thunderracing and i mean everything. was wondering how you launch and shift at and what rear end do you recommend because my stock rear end has 4:56 gears just so i can drive it. your opinion on if you would call this cam streetable. last i need to where to get it tuned because i just installed the cam this weekend. thanks and i live in so cal.

haha, i dont know of anyone who could tune a trex to pass emissions in cal. :jest:
its fairly streetable for me, i havent had much low end tuning done for drivability mostly for wot racing. but i did drive it every day for 3 months with no problems. i didnt know they make a 4.56 gear for a stock rear, thats gotta be itty bitty stuff. :eek2:

the car is not for smog legal issues but i will need to drive it sometimes to my auto class at school. yes the 4:56 are very tiny but on the tuning i have no one out here that speciallize in F bodys and thunder racing wants my car to tune but i cant take a road trip like that. do you think i can start the car without computer tuning to drive it to the dyno or do i need to have it trailered. i hope to start the car this weekend because the spring swap will be done toninght and i get my suspension kit tomorrow. i am twenty and crazy enough to do everything. what have you done to your m6 because all mine has is a after market 3rd gear. thank you very much for helping a young blood who is not that crazy.

the guy that does the tuning at thunder wasnt at thunder when we finished the cam at 4am and i had things to do for the next few days, we made a dyno pull and the a/f ration was acceptable so i drove it for a few days on the stock tune. it didnt want to idle so i just kept my foot on the gas a lil bit but it drove ok.

yep, im not holding my breath for it to last much longer, but never know, i never thought it would get this far, but using the clutch and not missing gears im guessing is what is preserving it :confused:

its already been done on a 113 lsa.

torque arm is a bmr adjustable, i have the new trans k-member with the torque arm relocator waiting to be installed to get the pressure off my tailshaft. and exhaust, wtf is exhuast. ;)

with the new sw race car suspension and now my exhaust wont work. i need help. thanks

the duals that would come with the trex kit, along with the tit retainers for them

Whats up man? I just bought a stock as hell 98 TA with an M6. I bought this car to completely destroy everything on the street. I wont be satisfied until I have a 10.20 under my belt on all motor! If you dont mind, can you tell me exactally what cam you have and anything else you have? I read the one about your interior and everything. Im gunna leave it fully interiored. i put 5 miles a day on my nike suspended legs. no problems so far with ride quality or traction and my raceweight is down to 160lbs now. :jest:
