Ahhhh the 3.4, I remember my old 3.4 Camaro. It looked good, but it couldn't even keep up with a stock 1999 Neon. Oh well...

Vid was cool though, liked the way it was put together

Not everyone can afford a 10 second car and have 15 friends that also have 500+hp cars to go driving around with at their disposal...example: my self lol

I've thought about making a video a few times but its a v-6 an no one likes peg-leg burnouts and a raspy v-6 zooming around by it's self on their screen, so it'll go unappreciated despite how well it may be put together.

I've never driven a 3.4L, but i know my 3.8L will keep up with base model v-8 stangs, and i've only had problems with turbo ricers at top end so ehhh i'll probably get told to stfu cause i "dont' know what i'm talking about" or "then those drivers must have sucked." lol oh well.

Anyway i thought it was a great video given what you had to work with. :thumb:

no it is a B&M and K&N that is all she got and the flows but it pretty cool that v8 are stading up for the litte guy it hard to make a bada$$ vid when your a six but i think it trun out ok thanks guy for posting and it would have been a litte better but i had my lil bro fliming it

i used to have a 95 3.4 w/ 5 spd. all i had was k&n, flowmaster, and pacesetter headers. that kept me up with any auto 1st gen 4.6l mustang so i was content with it

Yea i had flowmaster 80 series a dump and pacesetter headers on mine with a magnaflow highflow cat and it didnt souund that good.

I have 98 3.8L 5spd btw. Not sure about the 3.4s but the 3.8s aren't terrible...Mine is basically bone stock with 108k miles and running 15.4s.

def. one of the better videos i've seen on this site, good quality and, oh wait... it's not in the middle of the night so you can't see anything! your car may not be the fastest car in the whole world, but it's cool and you're not a fucking idiot like most people that post movies, two thumbs up by me!

yeah man dont worry about the haters, some people dont have to money to go right out off the bat and buy a v8, i know i didnt had 2 v6s an 85 with the 2.8 and a 95 with the 3.4 but if you want the v8 hang in there it will happen just shop around and try to buy one that some little old lady owned. i used my v6 as a mod platform as well but that was for stereo stuff, i knew that wasting money on engine stuff was pointless so i made the stereo loud and when i traded it for the LS1 I tranfered the stereo over, now i have a v8 with a kick ass stereo. but anyways i am ramblin just hang in there man, put some gears in her ass along with a posi it will really wake it up and dont be surprised if you take a couple of v8 cars off the line with a better gear.

well i have no prob with the gt's i leave the at the line till about 115 but they think there racing a lt-1 hehe

nice lil 3.4L. I dont really remember what its like to have an almost stock one but I have an attachment to mine that goes pretty deep. I daily drive my TTA just so the 3.4 can sit in the garage :devil: lmao.

some of you guys need the !asshole mod , i thought it was a very well put together video. some of the stills of the 1st gen maro were a bit long, as were some of the others, but i liked it. looks like you're going to have some nice rowing practice when you drop in that v8 as well :D

Very nice video man, thats the kind of shit I like to see. So what if its only a 3.4? it's still a 'maro. I always get picked on by the LS1 crowd in my 91 z28 350 tpi, and it runs 13's for god's sake, LS1's are very quick.

Very cool video...that car sounds really good...I'd bet that if you just posted a sound clip of it at idle people would think its the 8. Also, how'd you do that burnout? When I had my 3.8's, it was kinda hard to get those things rollin...although I had the slushboxes.

Quick survey - how many of us started with a V6 ... I know I didn't have the money to start with a V8 ... so my beast of choice was an 87 RS 2.8 5 Speed! :devil: Hollowed Cats, intake she was the shit! Handled better then my 96 Z! Then I got where I could own an :hail: LT1. Either way have fun with her, that's all that these cars were made for ... FUN!

Cool video compilation for what you were working with. People have no idea how much time and work something takes to make really nice. I also like the V-6 but then again, I'm biased. Forget the 355, put a turbo on that V-6 and see how far that goes! I bet that little V-6 with a turbo will make just as much power as a n/a 355 LT1.
