Default F13 safe with nitrous?

Is it safe to run a F13 cam with a 100 dry shot?

if well tuned and with ample fuel supply, of course.

I am gonna change the topic a bit. I am finally getting that badly needed 12bolt. Should I go with a cam/100 dry shot setup, or a heads/cam setup? I figured I could easily reach close to 500rwhp with the cam/nitrous setup but I am not sure what kind of gains I would get with a heads/cam setup. I will most likely be switching from the TR224 to a F13, heard too many good things about it.

My car is strictly a street car, very very little track time.

I wouldn't even bother with the FM13 if you allready have a tr224. You'll find that the tr224 has the FM13 under the curve (which is what you want on the street) and with a 125>150 shot you will be over 500rwhp. I made over that with a stock cam and 200 dry.

just jet up on the cam you have now, instead of spending the extra $$ on a new cam, make sure you have all the necessary parts (warmer, purge, window switch, fpss.)

goodluck

There is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING "unsafe" about running ANY cam with nitrous. Others will have better results, but there isn't a cam on the planet that will contradict nitrous and cause harm to a motor.

That being said, your fuel pressure, timing, and A/F tuning will be the key. The Fm13 will most certainly kick *** on nitrous
