Default Chrome Powdercoat?

I have heard of chrome powdercoat and wondering if anyone has any pictures of has seen it first hand?

Going to powdercoat my brakes, and am entertaining the idea of chrome powdercoat depending on what it looks like.

A buddy of mine had his wheels blasted with walnut shells to strip 'em and had chrome power coat applied. Wheels are on a Jeep grand cherokee and look pretty sharp on the car. All he has to do is wipe them off every now and then to clean them.

It looks ok in person. Don't expect it to shine as much as chrome. It will look dull next to the real thing. I think it looks more like a polished aluminum look.

I powdercoat stuff and I recently coated someone's accessory bracket with chrome powder. It looks AWESOME. Of course it does not have the finish of chrome, but like K9Kev said before, it kinda looks like ceramic coating, but the piece that I did was a LOT more mirror-like than my headers were when they were new. I think chrome calipers would look awesome. It was a dilema for me recently when deciding if I wanted to go with chrome calipers or Hugger Orange like my stripes. I ended up doing them Hugger Orange.

My headlight brackets were done using the reflective chrome powder from Eastwood. It look more like metallic silver than chrome, but still looks good. There are pics on my site.
