Default question, after motor rebuild

im new here, and i just finished rebuilding my motor a couple of months ago.
installed 2000 camaro ss 6 speed
comp cams 222/224 566/568 112
pp stage 2 heads, 2.055/1.60
double roller timing chain
slp ported oil pump
comp oe lifters
comp 7.400 pushrods
comp 1.75 roller rockers
hooker longtubes
ls6 intake
and the car has a lot of valvetrain noise, a lot of chatter, and was wondering if this was normal with these motors, being all aluminum. when the car is cold its quiet but when it warms up it starts chattering. i thought it might be my lifter preload, i had them adjusted half a turn on hot settings, so i adjusted them again to 2 turns this time, and it might had quieten down a tad if any. but does the same thing. i have good oil pressure 20-25 psi at idle when car is fully warmed up 40psi at crusing speed, and 50-60psi wot, is this just a normal thing

That's normal. Anytime you swap out the valvetrain. It tends to sound like a sewing machine.

The valvetrain noise is to be expected. The 25 lbs of pressure at idle would concern me with a 6 speed. IMO about 40-45 lbs at idle would be normal. My .02.

25# @ idle is fine, these engines make more noise when valvetrain geometry is changed. What kind and weight oil are you using?

5 # is totally unacceptable. I cant believe the manuel says that. also, 25# at idle in an M6 is definately below normal!!!
