MOser 12 bolt..cant get axle out
trying to take axle out so i can change the bearing and IT WONT COME OUT.
I have been beating on it with a hammer for an hour with no results.
I am starting to think it might have C-CLIPS! I called Moser to double check and they say it should come out after i unbolt the retainer plate. WHAT TO DO!! It wont MOVE

ratchet strap the axle to a tree and the other side of the axle tube to somthing stationary. crank down on the ratchet strap and bonk it with a hammer a few times. this will create constant side load while you shock it loose. this is sorta how i got my stock y pipe off of the I pipe by myself after 98k miles maby some kind of hydraulic ram that you can put between the center section and the axle (might have to use some big spacers like wood) and pump the ram untill it popped out.
as for the slide hammer, it would probably work if you get a tool for it to attatch to the axle somehow. go to autozone and ask for the slide hammer and all the tools that can be bolted/screwed/or glued to it. then make it work
