Im thinking do a search for a MTI stealth cam and you should get some results.

Actually you'd be suprised how little shows up, not enough that you can get a good "feel" for it really.

I can't give you any first hand knowledge because it is still sitting on a shelf in the garage. I chose it because with full bolt ons and LS6 heads I may see around 400rwhp with suprising torque and should drive stock especially when you consider the 01 Z06 cam has 116 lsa STOCK

I think on a fully modded F-body car you could expect similiar results minus 20 or HP from the ls1 heads. Port the heads you would have a monster on your hands and no one would ever know it.

I had a much larger cam in my WS6 and I just didn't want to crazyness in the Z06 I just wanted to "move it up a notch". If you do a search there are some dyno sheets around although I think those are with ported heads.

You don't really give us alot to offer advise on though. When choosing a vavletrain there is no "best" or "the one" setup. It all depends on goals, limitations like emissions and LA rush hour traffic. If you have an auto you have to take into account the converter etc.

So the Stealth cams make nice power and idle almost stock that is thier claim to fame.

I understand your question and where you are coming from, I was in the same boat and decided to do this:
custom 222-222 .581-.581 115 lsa xer with no advance. My lid/catback, AFR head A4 car with 2800 vig put down 376 rwhp and 361 rwtq (I have stock manifolds). Car idles at about 750 in gear and haven't had any problems, drives nice, good power. Only had this combo a couple weeks with maybe 100 miles logged, but think I'm happy with it. Need to wait for spring here in Chicago so I can take to the track.

Did you notice a nice improvement from 3k on or was it just in the upper rpms?? What are the rest of your mods?

I have Stealth II, 404rwhp/383wrtq.
Cam only with LS6/918 valvetrain (portmatched 241's), 3.73 rear, 3200 VIG

The Stealth is deadly, no one expects that power from a car that idles like that. Lots of TRQ below, yet 400rwhp on a very flat curve till 6500 (peaks at 5900). Truely a wolf in sheep skin.
Some poeple just do not like the fact it is stealth, they want some lope, some others worry because it is an XE-R lobe (very fast).
With my MAcs and ory/ Hooker CB, it has a very nervous chopchop.
I love it.

I know that at idle they sound very stock, but once you get on it how much does it defer?

That was the cam I was looking at.(for 1 year) I found very little info on it, talked to a phone rep who really didnt know much. Called Rapid motorsports and got their 224/228 (semi)stealth cam. 383hp 363tq w/ kooks headers, lid and magnaflow catback. I have a ASP pulley waiting to go on. Iam looking for 400rwhp.
Well see soon. RLTW

Good choice with the stealth II my friend has that cam and does sound pretty stock at idle unless you have a cut out. Made good power and the car feels really good.
