Use the sensor & reluctor ring that came on SS454 pickups that came with TH400's.
PN 8655291-speed sensor & PN 8655315-reluctor ring. Then with edit go to speedometer>speedometer input>pulses per mile and adjust the pulses per mile to match your rear gear/tire to get the speedo correct.Look at the ABS wheel speed sensors to get your correct speed going up the road.

Or you could do it for free and just plug your speedo sensor into one of your wheel sensors. prefferably the front so it doesn't change when you put different tires on the back.

My setup is for a 70's car conversion, can I adapt a wheel sensor?
I do not need it for a digital dash reading as I still retain my speedo cable, I just need it so the PCM see's a signal and the car doesnt stall.
