rotating assembly for 408
am building a 408 (iron block) with AFR 225 heads, and cam undecided. I was going to buy a lunati rotating assembly, but i heard that that is not the best decision if you plan to spray, which i do (300 shot direct port). Just specing it out right now, but what companies would be good for my appliction. I was kinda looking at JE or Ross pistons, and crower conecting rods, but i do not know where to go from there? Also i plan on running like 11:1 or maybe 12:1 compression.

i told you its not that one is made for nitrous or na... its just cost for quality. if you can pay less for the same quality part that you don't have to pay for the name... then why pay for the name and save the 800 bucks extra? oh and i'd go with 11.1:1 and just run that 92 octane. either that or you'll have to turn the timing down to like 16 and it'd just run slower till you put race fuel in it and turned the timing back up.

man, can call you on the phone to get your opinion!!! I know what you have to say but you have to realize i am bout to spend some major cash, so seeking more than one opinion is obviosly what i am going to do. It is not that i dont trust you an, you know that. You were the one that talked me out of the procharger, and into a 408. Believe me i do listen to you. But You know i have to ask about it. (By the way, for those of you who are confused, this is my engine builder, as well as my best friend from like before preschool)

oh dude its cool i'd ask too but just don't believe everything you read...its all about the money to 75% of the people who sell the parts..i'm the 25% of the people who wanna sell a part or brand to you because i know it'll put a smile on your face. not just cause some guy with a gtech calculator says so.
