Default GMPP LS6 CNC heads, TR224 on 114 LSA??

Anyone using this combination? I am interested in rwhp/rwtq numbers. I know the driveability will be fine with a good tune and that more hp/tq can be made with different head and cam combinations......Just interested in information about this combination.

Thanks

thats a nice lookin vette bro! have you checked out the dyno section yet? you might have more luck there. i know those heads do put down some decent numbers, tho not quite as nice as TEA's Stg2 LS6 heads

Thanks for the compliment. I do enjoy the FRC. I will look into the Dyno section and see what I can find.

Well, looked in the dyno section, but couldn't find the information I am looking for. Hopefully, someone on the forum will have some info.

The big intake ports on those LS6 heads are begging for a large cam, not a 224 grind or the like. The combo will work but a smaller intake port will work alot better with a TR224 grind. The AFR 205's, Rapid's Stage II's, TEA 1.5's are what I would be looking at if adding heads to a TR224 setup. HTH

Interesting, so an LGM G5X1 or X2 would be more effective for th LS6 CNC heads?

Thanks

When do you plan on getting your FRC tuned? I would like to know what gains you get?

dunno if it helps.. but my auto made 399 with a 224 114 cam cam on tea 1.5 heads

I would think you should be over 400 with full bolt ons with a M6 and those heads... maybe 420ish-430ish?

Thanks for the reply. I would figure around 400. I wonder where the tq would be?

Yes, you need to be looking at larger cams. A least something in the 230 degree duration range. TSP Magic stick, or even the cam I have (see sig.) Both are pretty streetable with a good tune and will make your vette go like hell.

Oh man, a run on the salt flats. I would love to do that. I haven't checked in to such an activity. Is there a web site one could go to for information on a top end run on the salt flats? And, thanks for the info on the cam.
