Default Advanced Auto Parts cancelling Redline

So after reading a few threads about oil (Patman you rule) I decided that I would go and hunt down some German Castrol (which I coudn't find) or Redline 5W-30. Walking to the back of the store, Redline is on sale for 5.95 per quart. I head to the counter with 6, and the guy says 'thats a good price on those, we usually sell them for 8 bucks a piece.' As an economist in training, I ask why they were on sale.

He said they were no longer (the chain) going to carry the Redline brand name because they can't sell enough of them.

Argh! I just got my Camaro, settled on an oil to use for it, and they're no longer going to carry it At least Redline will still make the oil.

Well, you can easily buy the Redline from some of the sponsors of this forum. Not to mention that you can also buy royal purple from orielly's

Don't worry, there are several places online where you can get RL for ~ $8/qt.

Don't give up on the GC, in finally found some and convinced the autozone manager to do whatever it took to stock the 0w30 with the gc stuff. I had to show them the color difference to prive to them it was different.

I didn't even know Advance had Redline. If I knew, I would've been buying it. They should've put a Redline sign up outside. No one else in town sells it, so I'm sure that would've sold a few bottles. Oh well!
