11 sec club okay i was going to wait to get some new times and video since i recently purchased a camera.. but if u could go ahead and let me in since ive run the #'s that would be really cool, and change my thing to say 11 sec club or whatever... if not, then i understand that u have to keep it fair and everything. at any rate
times were 11.63@122.8
with a 7.7x 1/8th
the car has also gone 7.40's at 98mph plenty of times in the 1/8th, and plenty of ppl have seen it do it from this board. the 11.63 wasn't the best time i feel it will run, but it was one of only two trips ive made to the 1/4 and i dont feel like waiting till i go back agian if thats okay..
some ppl u could ask on my behalf.. i know silentbutviolent from another internet board and hes knows plenty of ppl there who've all seen my car run a 11 at the darlington scfyb shootout the year before last when it was in the 11.80s'. hes an honest guy and is the one running 11.30 on b/o's. sidewayOZ should also be able to vouch for the 7.40 1/8th times as he has seen it run at wareshoals.
i think my dad might have an old video from the time we went to jackson for the import domestic shootout.. hes got two runs, if i can get him to send them to my computer somehow, one was a 1.80 60ft a 7.42 1/8th and then i starting leaning way out and ran 11.7x and i actually got out of it and coasted to like 101mph, the second was a 12.1 pass where i burnt the plugs completely up on the following run thinking we had it fixed the mph was like 94.5 i never got to 3rd gear. all of these runs were on 245 nittos, and took place a while back, car is a good bit faster in the 1/8th now and 60fts have dropped about 2 tenths as well. i tried taking pics of all the timeslips, but the ink on them is faded and is waaayy to light and my camera phone cant pick it up no matter how close i take the pic, thanks!

my bad forgot to list mods.. at the time of most of these runs including the 11.63 mods were 150 shot, tr6 plugs, nitto 245's, stock manifolds/cats/cutout, lakewood lower control arms, slp lid, filter, raceweight was 3480 with me in it, car is 02 z28 with no options on it, light, 3.23 factory gear. the 11.63 was the first 1/4 mile pass i ever made.. with the way it was not hooking i was lucky to get close to the 11's at all lol, car ran on same night in the 12.80s on motor at i think 107-108 with a 8.20 or so 1/8th.. times were with stock tq converter, spraying about 30-40 ft out depending on how much i spun off the line n/a the window switch would cut on quicker or later if it hooked pretty good to start with. custom pills were set to 2750 and 5975 if i recall right.
