finaly got a race in my blackbird so saturday night i see a 99 orange ss camaro with no cats and running no muffler open exhaust say and also with him was a 99/00 trans am a4 with a cam full exhaust a gear air lid k&n and a maf so we all go to a low key road to race the first race with the red TA i try'd launching a round 1500 rpms so when the flag went down i hit it i start wheel hoping real bad so i let of it again spinning real bad so i hit 2nd gear i get real bad side ways so i let off again and i tryd shiffting to 3d but like a dumb *** i missd so i messd up real bad so he thinks now hes a bad *** black bird killer so now the 99 camaro ss thats a m6 wants some so i tell him your gonna get me off the line cause i got to walk it of the line and slap it in the camaro gets a huge start on me i walkd it of the line till i got up to a bout 8 mph then i hit it so i was playing catch up he had me buy at least 3 cars so by the time i hit 3d i was passing him got in to 4th he was a bout 2and a half cars behind me and keep in mine he showd me his dyno sheet he was putting 338rwhp to the ground so after that race the guy with the red ta thinks hes a bad *** i say lets do it again hes like na man i dont wanna make a gmmg car look that bad so i said ill do what i did to the camaro youll get the jump big time on me im gonna walk it out of the hole when i get up to a bout 10mph then im gonna hit it he thinks hes gonna walk all over me so we race off the line i walkd it till a bout 8/9 mph and slapd it he had a bout 3 cars on me i hit 2nd gear im pulling on him like a mother ****** i shift to 3d we was dead even finshd the rest of 3d by 4th gear i had him by 3 cars after the race was over he kept driving did not stop or honk the horn nothing so i have to say i know all you guys have a lot faster f-bodys but for a stock gmmg blackbird im very proud of it come on now i was giving them a 2 car length jump on me and i was turning a round and beating them by 2/3 car lengths so i had a nice saturday night

OK sounded like an interesting story but I all could make out was Blackbird and race. Honestly now, the period and capital letters are your friends. That is awesome though that someone actually takes out a Blackbird and races it. I would love to see something like that around where I live. But when I tell people I have a GMMG exhaust, they just look at me like im stupid.

sorry guys for the long *** story.. it was like 5:00 am when i post it. so it was a lil bit pass my bed time. lol but yea the orange ss camaro was a m6 with running. an open exhaust air lid k&n etc. was puting down 338rwhp i whoud not have belived it if i did not see the dyno sheet. i know its very rare to see a blackbird im 17 years old and my mom and dad was out of town for the weekend so i said **** it. its saturday nite im taking out my car. so hate me if im 17 in rolling in a blackbird

Ok, well Im not really all that familiar with the blackbird, what kind of hop ups did it come with that other ls1's did not? B/c pulling 3 cars so quickly on another modded ls1 is pretty damn impressive.

well guys gmmg really dont say what the mods are on a blackbird.. (its kinda on the hush hush) i calld up there and spoke to them and they told me its has 3:73' gear headers air lid maf under drive pully's gmmg cat back and a full gmmg dyno tune and a hurst short thrown shifter if i can fix the wheel hop and get nitto drags it will be in the mid 12's from what gmmg says.
