Numbers Matching?

Numbers Matching?
Hey guys, I have a ton of stock parts laying around but I am unsure of whether or not to sell them to help fund my project. I eventually want to be able to revert my car back to stock form, and want all of the original parts so that it is "numbers matching", it seems those two words are the most highly coveted in original cars. What do people refer to when they say that? The reason I am posting this here is because I would like to sell the stock camshaft and stock cylinder heads from my 02 T/A.

Numbers matching means in the resto world if you were building a 67 camaro with a big block you would want the wright casting number and date code for the year and type car you are building. So every part on the car can be verified that it is a true ss and not a clone.PLus it would match the vin code

so each individual set of heads has an identifying mark, such as a date, that would attach it to a specific car? Im not referring to the casting number.
I really dont know what I'd ask for the heads. Im not even sure as of right now if I want to sell them...

It would have to have the wright casting number and the date would have to be with in a couple of months of when the car was built. So if your car was built during the A-15-1 year and had head number 241 then you would not use J-20-1 512.
