First time to spray the 5.3L was today!!! well tonight i finally got it all put in and wired up. i threw in a 100 shot pill and the truck is like an animal. i run my 20's around town and when i go to the track i always run stockers, but i will have to get some ET streets to help the truck keep traction. the damn thing wants to spend when i am going 35-40 mph. on saturday i am getting some 3.90's put in my rearend so this thing should run awesome. i am confident i will get into the high 13's with the new gear and the 100 shot. WWWWHHHHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!! this is sweet

Hell yeah! The second time I sprayed my 4.8 I ended up replacing the cam,springs,and pushrods! Then two weeks later the 4.8 died! It sucked but Im happy now! Whats your setup?
