I believe Andy at A&A put a 224 cam in the 427 in his C6, while waiting for LS2 edit to come out. Made close to 500rwhp IIRC, and must idle like stock, or even smoother.

I have the exact cam in my car now. It's for sale. Too tame for me. It has around 1000 miles on it.

238-242 605 610 113

408 a4 c5

It's fine, good idle and driveability. Makes 460 rwhp with weak heads. AFR's on the way, should see close to 500rwhp

I found a couple of Andy's posts on the corvetteforum. 494rwhp, 506rwtq from a 427 with AFR heads, 224 cam, no tuning.

And I'll like it better once there is about 24 pounds of boost on it.

im getting ready to finally pick out my cam and was wondering if there were any new 408 owners out there that might be able to contribute

Im kinda leaning towards something small but will utilize a set of TEA ported AFR's (with a 2.10 intake) to the best of its ability.......

Do small cams (in terms of a stroker) with BIG LIFT (.615-.625) even make sense? any and all info will be greatly appreciated.
