5.3L question i acquired some 5.3L bare heads that came off a truck, i thought about building them up to the specs of some stage 2 heads but i heard that the combustion chamber has to be grinded out to fit the LS1 cylinder size, is this true

They will need to be opened up if you want them to flow well. they could be bolted on as they are but you will lose quite a bit of airflow if you opt to do it that way.
