I found a sticker on my driver side door with a fairly lengthy list of 3 digit codes such as "AU3", are these RPO codes? The sticker also states "do not remove" and something about parts list. TIA

That sticker is the key to your vehicle. It shows everthing that the car was built with. It cannot be replaced if lost, so keep it on there as long as possible.
You can see what the codes meant here:

Don't worry about the SPID sticker if it should come off. Any GM dealer parts counter can print off your RPO codes with nothing more than your VIN. Granted, it'll just be on a sheet of paper (it is true that the sticker cannot be reprinted), but it'll have all the info that the SPID sticker did..... :)
FYI. I glanced over that link real quick and found it's missing a few RPOs, like B4C, N66, QFK, QF6, and some others.

B4C is a special service package. Also known as police package. It's a stripper V8 package on Camaros that includes some HD equpitment.

thats funny! :jest:
i have this wierd ability to remember large numbers, like my SSN, drivers license, college ID number, etc. i only need to hear or see them a time or two and i remember.
if i have to enter my 13 digit barcode number a few more times from the back of my student ID, i'll have it down too :)
