Default BIG cam in a stock LS1?

ok my buddy has this cam, it was in his old LS1 stroker motor and he wants me to put it in my motor which has the following upgrades it is a 98 LS1 w/, LS6 intake, Futural Motor Sports custom ground cam specs: 225/228 .587/.576 112 lobe separation Stage 3 LS1 Heads milled .030, ported and polished, dual comp valve springs and comp titanium retainers, Futural Motor Sports chromyl push rods, Z06 oil pump, do you guys think this is a good idea for a dd/streetracer car or should i just stick with what i got

his cam specs are: 236/239 608/610 112

what do you guys think? by the way he only wants $250 for the cam

sounds similar to a rj cam from futral as far as tho specs go.. but from what ive read there are quite a few other things that play major roles like lobes ect u might want to find out and consider, especially with milled heads!

may i ask why u got a 225/228 cam? kinda different and cool i think.

Don't do it. You have milled heads, a cam that size will not fit.

thanks for all the advice, i was just told by someone local that i would have to fly cut the pistons and retard the timing aswell, they are both cams from futural, the way i decided on the cam i have is, the guy w/the cam for sale has a supercharger/stroker corvette that had a bad sounding car, he told me to get that one, so i did but i think this one is too big. so everybody here says hell no on the cam. cool thanks for the help.
