What do you guys think?
It has been "serviced" but they give a warranty. It doesnt look to be oil lubed so I'm wondering how noisy it would be? Says "quiet" 89db. Isnt 89db pretty loud?
only $229 though!

I'm pretty sure thats the same one that i got from Lowe's, works perfrect for my needs. It is pretty noisy but it doesnt run all the time only when it needs to compress some more air. Not any louder then most compressors, if your looking for a good buy compressor then thats prolly your best call.

I agree... I have a Craftsman 30 gallon oil-less and it's noisy as hell. The next one is going to be a 60 gallon, oiled compressor and I'll stick it in the basement and route lines into the garage.
Sorta like this one...

Honestly, my current one is fine for light duty use, but when that thing kicks on, it can scare the crap out of you if you dont expect it.
My bro-in-law has one similar to the one above and it's quiet as can be. Think honda civic vs. f-body with long tubes/ory/dumps.

Get a oil and quiet compressor. If you knew what I know now, you would be happy you did. I will buy another one in a couple of years, big tank quiet operation will be at the top of the list. My craftsman 30 gallon oilless is too noisey.
