Constant driver side front 02 heater circ failure!!!
Over the last year I've gone through 5 driver front 02's for heater circ failure. Rears are dummied by ls1edit. Found and repaired a few exhaust leaks on driver side. My tech at work thinks it's a wiring issue. The only change was those 02 wiring extensions. I've never had an issue with passenger side. This one didn't make it 2 weeks of off and on driving. Anyone aware of common causes?????

I don't believe this code means there's anything wrong with
the heater circuit per se; I think it's saying, "I can run the
heater all I want, and the O2 sensor is still for ****". That's
the headers being a bit too cool for consistent operation.
Log your O2 voltage and judge its activity, especially at idle,
the frequency and symmetry of threshold crossings is the key.
Even on a stock car the idle O2 crossings get slow, but they
stay warm enough to be relatively symmetric and constantly
bouncing. On a lot of headers cars you will see them slowly
"go to sleep" in the logs, then bang high for a bit, and go to
sleep again, not symmetric at all, just lurching around. Enough
of this nap-and-snort is about the point where the PCM decides
it's not seeing anything reasonable and sets a heater code.
Some folks seem to get a lot better using the 'vette rear O2
sensors, which also eliminate the need for extensions and
have high wattage heaters.

Aight. I may try that. When I last had it to my tuner (CAM) he showed me basically an autotap type reading showing the "graph" of both o2s switching. The driver side was very lazy and hardly ever did anything. I was wondering (old topic) if the 02 placement in relation to the OE location being much farther back has some affect on it. I'll search and find the part # for that vette rear 02. Thanks a bunch. Oh, I think I did get those sensors. I'll check my receipt once I find the #'s again.

I think iam haveing the same problem, I got a code today. o2 heater on bank 1
So i ordered some o2 extentison,because i made a custom extentison with the supplyed wire from pacesetter. When i ordered my headers they sent me the wrong o2 extenstions. Could the my custom extentison be my problem,or is it a lazy o2sensor??
