I painted wet sanded repeated that about 3-4 times then a final wet sand to smooth out. took about 2 cans of black, 1 can primer, no (satin) clear coat at all. It was probably the easiest car part I have ever painted with a rattle can. I've done friends interiors, lids, and wheels all rattle canned. sounds ghetto but you can make a rattle can job look just as good as a paint shop on smaller parts.

Well let's see. My old wheels I painted have lasted for 2 years now and they still look good, my friends lid has been on for 3 years, my other friends interior was done 4 years ago his car was stolen last year and it looked great when he last had it. So I'd say they last long, but I'm not saying paint you next aftermarket hood with spray paint. The rattle can is great when you want to do something small with a basic color, if you want custom by all means get real car paint.

Awhile back I remember someone wanting a red one on a black car then gunmetal one. A couple photoshops were done but I don't remember anything coming from it. if you have a rear pic of your car post it and I could try to shop a color your thinking about. or just give me a color and I could find a pic.

There's a black one in Houston with a silver panel. I think it looks good, and it's definitely unique!
