Verter is the first mod for any A4 owner. You'll get way more out of it than putting a cam in on a stock tc. Then bolt ons to support a cam then the cam.

www.vincihighperformance.com I have an 04 C5 A4 still with stock converter. donaldson, crane 1.8 rocker kit with dual spring kit, dynatech ss longtubes, magnaflow 351rwhp/ 360ft#tq. last month I installed VHP Boss II camshaft 216/224 .551 with 1.8 rockers .590, PP ls6 style 2.055 heads with crane billet double roller chain, tuned with VHP tuner set on cam selection #3 with 10% enrichment, pulls extremely hard from 1500-6200 rpm, have not dynoed since H/C install. car idles @ 650 in gear, with noticeable lope. will dyno, then install yank ss3200 with billet drive plate. after that, AFR heads and dyno again.

get the converter first it will knock off more ET then just doing a baby cam, which without any supporting mods is what your limited to. you would get more out of a cam by having headers/TB/Lid/ect...
