Default rebuild4L60E or speed inc stage 2 or TH400??

Im planning on getting a big personal loan ($15,000) to get some things done on the WS6, im planning on a 402ci H/C with 150shot looking at getting 550rwhp NA and 700rwhp N20 and next would be transmission. Right now im sitting at 106,000 miles on my transmission, should I get a rebuild kit to handle all that power or should I get Speed inc Stage 2 or 3 4L60E tranny or maybe a TH400??? whats the price range on a Turbo 400 or how easy is it to install?? I know nothing about putting a TH400 into a LS1 car so please bare with me.. TH400 are 4 speeds right or are they 3? anyways I believe the Speed inc stage 2 tranny sites at around $1500 and I dont know how much a rebuild kit is but I think I saw one for like 700 or so. And ive never looked at the price on TH400s. whats the pros and cons on switching to TH400???
Thanks to any help I dont want to jump into this thing blindly.

TH 400 will handle the power if you're going to be driving the car hard regularly. the loss of overdrive is the major downside.

If you stick with a 4l60e stage 4 can handle 650rwhp.If your looking on running tens i would say you will be fine but if you want to push it into the nines id start looking at a turbo 350 or 400.I currently have a stage 4 4l60e trans and ran low 10s without a problem but i want to step it up and run some low nines thats why im going to a turbo trans.BTW do you want to buy my old trans setup

Certain 4L60e's might be able to live up to the power you're going to produce. That Stg 4 FLP should for now. My century Should for where I plan on going for now. After that TH400, Powerglide, 4L80e's about the only thing to handle the power. I would jump on Tuff's deal. I did the same thing and got this trans (see sig) from Dan Taber from HPE. Some situation. The 4L60 was handeling what he had, but not where he was about to go.

If you want a solid combo that would handle the power + anything in the future a TH400+GV unit would be the ticket. The only thing I keep looking for is a Manually Lock-up for the TC. I've seen them before, but can't find them.

If you go with a 4L60E dont get anything less than a stage 3. I recommend that you get the tranny directly from Dr Evil Transmissions if you go that route. I ordered mine from speed inc 7 months ago and they still havent gotten my core charge back to me even after many long distance phone calls when they told me "oh we will get that taken care of today" but dont. Call back the next time and hear the same old ****.

If you have any questions Billy (owner) is the man to talk to. I've talked to him a few times due to the lack of knowledge speed inc has.

With what you have planned for your car i would go with a th350 or 400.

Two words: Carl Rossler. Oh, and a 700 trans can handle that much power when built right.
