Default tsp 235 240 cam installed question

jason at TSP done my tune by mail and it is still not idleing quiet right it dies and surges sometimes but i only have about 20 miles on the new tune

how long will it take for the computer to learn the new tune or will it need a retune?

usually between 50 > 75 miles.

I wouldn't expect it to get much better with time. I have that cam and I've reset the PCM several times. Do you have an A4 or a M6? I think this is too much cam for a A4. Even with a M6, you will need a very good tune. I'm still working on mine. I have a good idle, and I 've reduced but not eliminated the surging and bucking below 2000 rpm. If you have an M6, you will learn how to drive it to reduce the bucking, and the performance will be worth it.

well it is an a4 , it doesn't idle rich at all but what else can i do

if its a 98 then the surge is pretty hard to get rid of....thats one of the problems of 98's...not sure what it is but ive got the same problem

I just put the 235/240 in a M6 car and it idles like a champ untuned

well i turned the idle screw up a little and it helped allot, i will see how that does thanks
