Default if YOU had to choose btwn these 2 tires..

excluding looks,cost,etc... just for sheer grip and handling, i cant see that either has a major advantage over the other. i bought a import rag (yea, yea, i know LOL) that had a great article explaning all the measurements on tires. i searched here and found nothing but good stuff about either one. i dont care about ride quality, just grip and handling, in that order. TIA
i cant wait to put them on my Z06's i have had for 7 months waiting ughhh..

the two tires are Falken FK 451's and Yokos ES 100's

todd, thanks, i read (yes, believe it or not, while searching here LOL) where you said in an old post, that they were (according to your customers) the best bang for the buck. i will call on you when ready to order for sure.

as for the above double post thing, not real sure what that means, but ok.

i am just getting into this Chevy hi-po thing.

I had ES100's on my old '01 Mustang. They hooked pretty decent, better then the stock crap. I never did any handling stuff but road noise and ride quality was very acceptable, much better then expected. They did great in the rain too. I'd reccomend them for a performance daily driver tire.

I have the Yoko AVS ES100' s too. They seem to hook well when new, but after a few miles they start wearing pretty fast, and are easy to break loose.
