Default ls2 chain part # same as ls1 chain part # now?

guys at sdpc was a lil confused.. part # for teh ls1/ls6/ls2 chain were all the same lol, so im guessing and hes guessing they went ahead and are sending ls2 chains out since its a direct swap.. as in there just not making the old type anymore... i want the ls2 chain, so i hope this is right. paid 28.xx for it.

found this out today at work myself
ls1 chain supercedes to ls2 chain just make sure they dont sell you the older number because they have it on the shelf

12586482 is the new number list for $42

12552954 is the old number(not what you want)

well whichever chain i ordered, they had to actually order becuase they didn't have any currently in.. the guy sounded pretty sure towards the end i was getting the ls2 chain.. he spent about 10 minutes mumbling to himself and looking stuff up lol

When calling SDPC hit up Chris at EXT 353 he is a member on the board. He seems to know something about LS1's. Very good guy to deal with and their prices are great.
