1-2 accumulator

When I put my TransGo in I got rid of the plastic piston.
The pin diameter is different than the old 700R4 aluminum pistons so I put in a 1-2 accumulator piston and housing out of a 700R4. I have a bunch of them, so I could get the thing done.
The 700R4 accumulator is more shallow, it's as deep as the original housing with one transgo shim washer. So I didn't need to use a washer.

When the plastic broke describe exactly how it acted. We just did a transgo in my buddys with 1 washer drilled small 1-2 hole and he already had a vette servo, his has been working spot on.I thought I had an alloy accum. covered, but it was the early style with the large pin. We should go back in and get a alloy OEM or a transgo alloy 1-2 before it breaks.JXAXX has the right idea, old style 700 cover. And ****,I bet i have one or two laying around.

I replaced mine as well.. But now that i think of it, since some of those kits come with warrenties.. doesnt it say as a disclaimer that if anything goes wrong with this kit after being installed correctly that there will be a refund or they will fix the problem? Maybe if you let the plastic break you can get a freebie! lol... nah, might as well replace it while your under there just to get it done the first time and the only time.
