Default 1 pc or 2 pc case?

I have a 98 camaro z28 a4 ls1, I ordered a 2pc case 4l60e because I thought that it had the new bolt pattern on it, but the transmission shop says that it is wrong and since I didn't do the work myself I can't see the transmission to know if its wrong or not so my question is, is do I have a different model 2 pc then what I got or do I have a 1 pc case?

thats the thing I ordered a 2 piece case and they went to bolt it up and figured out that it wasn't right.

The 2-piece case version was used on trucks with the 4.3 and 5.7L Vortecs. The full-sized ones got them in 1998 and the S-10/Jimmys got them earlier than that, I think 97. That transmission bell housing has the old SBC bolt pattern.
