Default Anybody running the Centerline TelStars?

I want these for my T/A, but they only come in a 5in backspacing which is not what I need. But, a guy I know has them on his 01 SS and they look sweet as hell and somehow they don't stick out like a **** even with the 5in backspacing. So, any of you guys running the Telstars? And what size tires are you running on them? Got any pics..

Thanks,
Matt

Summit now carries Telstars 15x8 5x4.75 with 5.5" backspace. Summit part number CLL-135807547. I know firsthand Telstars fit perfectly on an LT1 (no spacers and no grinding), but no idea how they fit on an LS1.

I know a guy with Telstars on a SN95 stang and love them!! Glad they have a fitment for our cars. Now, about the grinding, wonder if you have to on the ls1? I'll check out summit's pricing. Your car is hot!!! How much do they weigh??

Weights if you would like to know: 15x8 = 17 lbs, 15x4 = 13 lbs.

I just want to know if grinding is required on ls1's. Then I know the next step.

Prostars 15x8 13 lbs, 15x4 9 lbs. That seems considerably lighter than the Telstars. Hmmmm..... they are a little more money though.

Default Centerline Telstars

Is anyone running the Centerline TelStars? If so, what size tire are you running on the back? I know that the Telstars only come with a 5in backspacing and I also know that 5 inches isn't enough for a 8in wheel. So, I was wanting to see if anyone on here is running these wheels and what size tires are you running on them. Some pics would be great as well..

Thanks!

I believe they just released a 5.5 inch backspace. They weigh 4lbs more than a Pro star just so you know. I like them a lot, but I think I really want a 15x10.

Yeah I love the wheels.. A guy I know has a set on a Black 02 SS and they look sweet. He is running a 15x8 Telstar with a 5in backspace and somehow has a set of 28x11.5 E.T. Street with no rubbing issues. I really want to run a 15x10 myself, but I like these alot better than a Pro Star and they kinda have a Bogart/Monocoque look to em..

I was considering them, but I read that you have grind the calipers more than the Pro Stars. That's why I hadn't gotten any.
