i ordered a jimmy jams nitrous controller about 6 weeks ago maybe a bit longer.........according to the website they were back ordered and going to be shipped 2/18 ok cool i understand that they arent a big company with a ton of stock no problem.............i emailed him gave him the shipping info.......emialed me back on 2/21 saying it was shipped its not here yet no its 3/2 and still no word ive sent him 2 additional emails with no anybody else having problems with getting merchandise that they have paid for shipped to them from jimmy jams???

to me it seems that 2 weeks after it was supposedly shipped is to long to wait for a package..........its not getting shipped by horse and buggy.....if somebody at the company reads this please post or pm me with whats going on

lol..... not that I'm laughing at your post but I just posted pretty much the same question yesterday over on

I also ordered from them and have yet to recieve the plate. Ordered on Feb,10th on the 18th I emailed them about it and did get a reply stating I should've gotten it already. I have since emailed them 3 more times and have yet to get another reply.

And there's a reply to my post on and he's going through the same thing as us.

I'll try to email them a couple more times and if I don't get a response I will file a complaint with Paypal about it.

Come on JimmyJam's...let's get the ball rolling here!!!!

Why don't you just call him? PRetty sure their phone # is listed on their web page. If not, I have it in an email. I'm not sure if they are a big company or not. Looks like probably a small scale home based business.

This has been taken care of- sorry for the problem.....we used a different P.O. the past month and a total of 3 orders have been lost of post office hell I guess !?! We won't ever use those jerks again........tiny little place in the midst of nowhere - I guess it happens sometimes. We are thinking of filing some sort of claim but I haven't really looked into that yet.

If you don't get parts from us within 4-5 days then you should always call or email me. I send out orders the following morning after it's received. We try to have really fast service!!

You should get it no problem. Jimmy is a stand up guy. I have many of his parts and he used some of my cars to make and test his parts. Mainly the LT1, L98, and some carb stuff.... If they said they had a shiiping problem I would not doubt it. We live in a small town in ga. It has happened to me on occassion with my business as well......

I have ordered stuff from him also with no problem, I got my packages within 4 days.

Got mine a couple days ago. Now I gotta find a switch for it that'll work with a NOS brand bottle opener.

you waited that long for that piece of junk... sorry but they look sh*t.

Then maybe you should go into business making a better one.

Besides using different type of switches what makes yours so much better looking?

03-18-2005, 02:14 PM
the plate itself is a better fit. It's textured to match its surrounding. Each one I built was test fit and altered to ensure perfection. I spent 4-5 hours on each one I sent out. I don't build them anymore but had overly satisfied customers when I did.

They do look nice but the other ones look fine to me. Perhaps they look better in person. I do like the high contrast of the colored switches since I can close them up & not look at the rainbow of color when not in use. I'm using small metal toggle switches on my setup.

I bought one from Ryan a long time ago. I really like it and it does fit very well. Hey ryan can you shoot me a pm. I need to replace a switch and I can't find one thats the same size. I want to get a switch to control an electric cutout and I was curious if you could get me one to match the other two.

here is mine in the car

03-18-2005, 11:50 PM
awesome... thanks for the compliment.

03-19-2005, 03:59 PM
with the jimmy jams unit you have a choice of colors, mini tex powerder coating and a choice of switches.... seems like a better deal to me..

03-22-2005, 05:12 PM
Are you saying these look like shit? If so, you have something wrong with you eyes!

03-22-2005, 05:17 PM
Yes, it looks like Bozo got ahold of it.

Another option is the DynoTune switch center

03-22-2005, 07:30 PM
Yeah, I like the Dyno tune but $149 for 4 switches & 4 lights is a bit much IMHO. It does look like a quality item, but that is just pretty expensive. I'm working on a close of the Dynotune model & so far I've gotten about $7 into it. I have to find a cheap 2-1/16 gauge for the housing...or I've also been thinking of just putting them in the ash tray. I haven't decided yet. I found some nice small metal toggle switches at a local electronics place & matching momentary as well with leads saudered on them already so they have a shallow mount depth.

Another option is the DynoTune switch center

03-23-2005, 12:21 PM
I hear you about the cost, were working on reducing the cost! There is a ton of stuff inside that housing! The switches are very expensive and quality parts and will last a long time. I have one and use it alot, its just to cool looking and works so good even at $149 I still love it!

03-23-2005, 07:19 PM
Yeah, I got the metal switches for mine for durability. I can't stand those cheap-O switches that are long & clear colored plastic. They break easy & have too deep of a mount depth.
