Default This **** is starting to get old!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so when I had the other car in my sig noone would race me. Now that it's gone and I have a "stock" car, all these shiteaters are going around saying they want to run em. And I understand how the cars that were stock didn't want to race, that's cool. But now that my "fast" car is gone all these modded cars are telling people I know how they want to race me. I don't even know any of them either. Like today I got a text message from a buddy and he said some dude I don't even know has a 91 Cobra that runs 7.70s in the 1/8th, and that he was coming after me. Ok, where was this dude all last summer and fall when I had my car that would run 7.60s in poor weather all motor? And on spray......C-ya!!! He was just like the rest of em, hiding out and didn't want to race someone that might beat them. I don't know about you fellas but I enjoy a challenge, not racing stock cars cause I know I'll win. It just pisses me off that people won't race until the car that might beat them is gone, then they start talking ****. I guess it's time to hook up the 5177 kit, mount the Nittos back up and get to business And if they still win, I guess we'll just have to set something up again when I get "this" cars exhaust and cam installed

I hate races that aren't close at all, it's just boring. Oh and just something to know, they didn't make cobra's in 91, the own factory fox-body cobras was in 93. Good luck with all the **** talkers!

I don't know all the specifics on the Mustangs. I was just told it was a 91, probably just has the badges or something Races that aren't even close aren't worth my gas or the risk of getting in trouble with the law. Although I have raced before to prove a point and for pride.

I know how you feel, sort of. I'm not as quick as your old car (yet ), but it seems I used to get alot more people willing to race me when my car was stock. Now that it has some mods, I rarely get any takers. WTF is up with that?

.
Haha, it's all so true. I would suggest just throwing the juice on there and not telling anyone you have it.

Exactly what I'm doing. I'll teach them to pick on my poor stock car But I don't know how much the 100-125 shot will drop my stock times, hopefully into the low 8's with the Nittos. I just found out who the 7.70 stang owner is, I only new him by his nickname, pretty cool guy actually. He had a 99 lightning and my buddy with A 87 IROC that runs between 9.33-9.50s would either beat him or give him all he wanted. So I don't think he'll be able to drive this car to it's 7.70 potential that the previous owner did. I'll just have to outdrive him

It is the nature of the beast. A viscous cycle that never ends. I had everyone fooled till I raced and beat a 10.50 stang for money. Now, I haven't had a money race on the street with another street car since.
