Default My newfound philosophy...agree?

I have been struggling with the idea of getting a turbo or blower - the main problem is price. I got the goahead from the wife, but I know what I am going to want to do .... lower the compression, get forged internals, etc. and really go overboard. I think I'm just going to try and get as much n/a as possible (450 rwhp maybe?) and spray a 100/150 shot. I know many people will think it is a cheap way out but then again ... it is!!! 1k for nitrous setup (which I already have) vs. spending 6k or so. I know I have to get another cam and some other mods such as a cutout underdrive pulley, etc. to hit my n/a goal, but maybe only spray when up against boost, spray or more cubes. Does anyone else share the same philosophy? Spray only when against other power adders / more cubes?

run what you brung, if you do not want to get beat buy a stationwagon and stay at home. But really, with spray you can use it or not. What happens if you are against guy with a monster motor. If you are going to put the giggle gas in use it.

You are right. I'm all about spraying when necessary. I really hope for 450rwhp n/a as well. Think it'll hold up with a 150 shot on top of that?

Not sure on the ZZ4 engine, what is the cam specs currently? I know the LS1 factory cams do very well on juice as is.

Being an afficianado of Nitrous Aspiration, I like the theory
