Soild, makes a direct connection between the chassis and the motor. That can cause alot of vibration in the car for street driving. But people do it anyway. I've heard it can save close to 100lbs. By going to solid motor stands.

Yea, all that shaking is kinda like working out. The driver looses a bunch of weight in no time and walla,100 lbs.

100 LBS with solid mounts? Not even close. I saved 40 or a little less with a tubular K member and poly mounts. The poly mount are at best 4 lbs. The stock K member weighs a ton.
