Default 29" tire??

Is it possible to fit a 28.6 inch tall tire on our cars that has a foot print the same as a 295 width tire.

Anyone here running a 29 inch tall tire, and how wide.

How much work was needed to get it to fit if any? What size rim and backspacing.

TIA

A good friend of mine was running a MT 29.5x10.5x15 on his SS, it was on a 15x10 rim with 7.5 BS, you have to cut the fender infront of the tire, and behind the tire, and roll the fenders, and take a Big Hammer and pound in the fenders but it will fit

We are (now) running 29.5x9.0x15 M/T ET Drag tires on our Z28. What BTL FED said is correct, but not much inner fender clearance was done. You can see pictures of it on Jenibella's website.
