Default HPT 2.0 ? or Mega Squirt

I'll be needing something soon.. The 3bar with extended tables looks nice but the more I read up on Msquirt... It looks like it has a ton of versatility and is pretty simple to work with.

I've only tuned with the fossil of tuning software (LS1 Edit). But I do like the idea of keeping the factory PCM.

HP Tuners. Might as well get it now, you will get the upgrade later. If you use Megasquirt you will end up with a Mega headache.

Just wondering if the cost of the 3bar ver2.0 is offset by an upgrade price if I did purchase the 2bar 1.6ver now?

Got an email back already. Upgrade pricing from 2bar to 3bar hasn't been established yet. Great service HPT

Hurry up with the 3bar & Ver 2.0 guys I've got another week or so before I need to jump. I'm still on the fence... I'll see how TurbochargedBerserker's tuning goes with his MegaSquirt over the next week or so... Isn't Parish running a MegaSquirt too?

I'm curious what experience this comment comes from? MEgasquirt is about the easiest thing on Jim's truck... hella easier than HPT or LS1edit to figure out!
