Default Pics of your Fuel System

I have gone with the A1000 and the AEI 13101 reg and Billet Rails. My question is I have it ran the main line from the fuel pump to the Reg and a Y to the right and left side rail with a cross over in the back of the rails and the return from the reg is this right or wrong?Any help and also pics would help Thanks.

I am running from the pump to the front of the rails, the back of the rails to the regulator and then the return..

The regulator is usaully placed after the rails. I've never seen anyone install it in the feed line, although I don't know why it wouldn't work. If you wanted, you could run 2 lines off the back of the rails, Y them into 1, then place your regulator, but you could very well be fine the way you are. I'd wait for a few more fuel system pro's to check in first. I ran my feed into the front/drivers side rail, crossed over in the back, and ran the regulator directly off the front of the passenger side rail. The return goes back under the neck of the intake, where it then follows the feed back to the tank. The other side of the regulator feeds my fuel solenoid for the No2.

ANy pics of your setup ?? It does sound a bit odd.

It sounds like you still ahve dead end fuel rails, so there isnt really any need for a link between the 2 if you have Y'd teh feeds into each rail.

Ideally you would have the fuel going from pump, into both rails, flowing through them, then into the regulator, and returning back to the tank.

Here is how mine is set up. My regulator is hard lined to the back of my fuel rails. Third picture shows the front of my fuel rails.

Just got back from a HP race parts store and the tech said to go in one rail loop to the other and on the last side of the rail put the reg then back to the tank.

That way is a little simpler. Running the rails in parallel via Y block is a better way though.

It is way better to Y into both rails. But depending on your setup you can go in one loop and in the other. Depends on your power level?

You mean like this...???

The Reg is not On the rail but pretty close to it.

That way worked for me.... BUT with my new turbo setup im going to Split it in a Y-Block like 2fast4U is doing it because i dont want to take ant chances......

Here's pics of mine. I used the in one rail, cross over, then directly into the regulator and back to the tank method.

Here are a couple of pics of how I did my fuel system. I hard lined directly to each rail from the reg as well as the splitter. I chose not to do a crossover.

In the pics above there are no fuel rails because the fittings were being welded onto the rails at the time I took the pics. But you should be able to get the idea.
