Default Saw the Sunoco hood at VFN yesterday

I went over to VFN yesterday and saw the Sunoco hood in person. Here are my observations:

The hood blends with the Camaro hood lines extremely well.

There are no square edges. Everything flows together well.

The cowl is at the perfect height, about 2.5 inches. It also starts at the front of the hood and blends in great as it rises and widens.

There is a curved up lip at the back. It is nicely done and will have a screen visable from inside the car. This is a nice touch.

The pictures can not do this hood justice. It does not look nearly as good on the Internet as in person.

VFN has spent a great deal of time to make this the way WE wanted it to look.

After looking at the regular 2" cowl and this hood at the same time ther is no comparison. The Sunoco hood plain rocks.

My 7 year old son (XBOX junkie and car fan) and my dad both said get that hood.

Once painted this hood will be the best looking aftermarket hood available for Camaros by far.

The quality of the hood is outstanding.

All in all I was very impressed with the effort behind this hood, the quality of the hood, and the people at VFN. They are a top notch company providing a top notch product.

Jeanie and Armondo spent a lot of time with me answering questions. Showing alternatives, explaining the manufacturing and design process, and explaining the features of the hood. I am very impressed and told them I want one ASAP.

Jeanie, the stickers and magazine are Seth's favorite part of the day. Thanks. He had a great time in the truck looking through the magazine and deciding where his VFN stickers will go.

To VFN: Thanks for your time and patience with me yesterday. I am sure you will be very successfull with this hood.

Me too! Plus the side of the cowl is just right for "Bone Stock" to be painted on mine.

Not yet. I think they are working on where to price it now. All I was told is that it will be around the SS hod price give or take. Jeanie did say there would be a GP once it is ready.

well man that info you posted sounds GOOD. I can't WAIT to get ahold of one of these babys. 2.5" you say? that's PERFECT. Enough to be functional, noticeable, and NOT in the way of viewing.
