Default Cam Opinions...MS3, FM13, FM14

Hey guys, Im looking to get a cam pretty soon and wanted to know some peoples opinions on a few different cams. The three Im looking at are the TSP Magic Stick v3, FM13, and the FM14. I have noticed that the MS3 consistently puts 405-420 rwhp, i have seen the FM13 put anywhere from 380-430rwhp, and I really have not heard that much on the FM14. I plan on putting a 125 dry shot on in the future and it seems that the MS3 works really well with some spray.. Any opinions? Oh yeah, I still want the car to be streetable, and I want to keep my stock 3.42 rear.

Thanks

14.

If you go solely off which gives a few more RWHP.. your going to ve very diaspointed. Times in sig. Without ls6 or asp.

f13 or f14.. f14 willl make a few more peak hp, and idles choppier, other then that i dont think you'd really be able to tell them apart on the dyno, or the track.

but if ur looking for more of a sleeper idle, get the 13, if u want choppiness get the 14.

the f13, f14, and my buddy's f15 dyno have all had amazing tq down low.. the f15 dyno graph i saw had a clutch problem and didn't peak as high as the guy would have liked, but had a whopping 36xlbs of tq at 3100rpm where the graph started logging.. i imagine he was making good tq as low as 2500rpms

f13 has great tq all the way from the start . has a choppy idle but not as much as the other 2 you asked about. very streetable cam and I still get 22 mpg with 4.30 gears in the 12 bolt.
THis cam will be the best with stock gears over the other cams you chose as well.

I like my TSP MS3, but u would need 4.10. It's not bad having 4.10 don't see a big difference in milage.

That's what I love about my F15. The down low torque is amazing. Mine made more torque than the stock cam from 3k all the way to redline. This is through 4.10's too!

It's a good idea to have atleast 3.73 IMO. Others may say that stock gears is fine, but might as well upgrade to higher gears to get the most out of it.

I was considering all three of these cams as well and I decided for my needs the F13 +2 on a 111 LSA would be great. Good luck on the cam selection. All sweet cams though.

i'd get the f14 on a 112...the difference between the +2 and +4 is that the +4 moves the power band down a little more than a +2...i think it also give you a little worse p to v clearance

My F14

I'm pretty pleased with it. It pulls like crazy on the top end. I'm on 3.42s and have no problem, however I think the 410s would help. I'm sure a fully ported TB and UD Pulley would have netted a few more peak Hp, and maybe a little more throughout the range.

I like the graphs from the MS3 aswell, and the F13 is an awesome performer. I just hadnt seen much from the F14 and went ahead and got it. The idle is amazing too!
