Default Post your Aftermarket Switches, Buttons, and other Interior Electronic Mods

Greetings,

I am looking to modify the ashtray section, or the "TCS" & cigarette lighter area of my 01 TA.

I want to put a power antenna overide, line lock, and various other switches or buttons inside the car.

If you guys have some pictures of your modifications, that would be great to get a thread going of these types of mods.

Ideas of what you have done or are going to do would be great also.

No holds barred!

Thanks!

I know it's not the best picture showing it, but the switches are just infront of the shifter in that area beside the lighter. (one goes to a QTEC, one's the fan switch, one's the power antenna override).

Everyone who gets in the car for the first time ALWAYS asks "what's those do?" and instantly starts reaching for the switches to play with them

I actually got mine from slow about a year ago. I can't remember his site address or how much it cost. Maybe get in touch with him.

I believe those style switches are from the boating industry. They are used on boats for things like light switches, bilge pumps, etc. I would try to find some at a marine/boating supply store.

They're very similar and typically will work in a car too.

Is there any place that sells a plastic plate that can replace the "cell phone holder" in a camaro? I'm looking to put switches there, but don't know much about custom fabbing that part.
