Default i cannot keep my nbm clean!!!

hello all

i have a serious problem keeping my nbm z28 clean. if i wash it and dry it off i get streaks all over the place and it almost looks better dirty. is it just because it is chilly outside or am i doing something wrong? any insight would be great. thanks.

thats probably your washing technique? if you properly maintain the vehicle to begin with you more than likely wouldnt have that problem. theres tons of detail threads in this section....

Sounds like you have some really hard water. You could use the Mr. Clean filter thing on the end of your hose that filters out the minerals and such in your water and just use your own soap and hand dry it as opposed to using the Mr. Clean dryless technique. I get streaks and such on my mom's car. After I dry it I take a microfiber towel and wipe the streaks and they go away.

when you wash your car at the car wash do you bring your own sponge or do you use the brush. if you use the brush that can cause scratches because of dirt in the brissels

i have no special way of washing my car i just break the car into sections like the hood driver side door passenger side door and i wash each section three times.

i dont use their brush i use the spray wand. i think im just going to invest in some cleaning supplies and wash it in the driveway... probably a lot cheaper than 10-15 bucks a pop to wash it at the car wash.
