Default T/A Goes Boom!!!

Never posted a video on here before so it probably won't work but here we go. Blue T/A tried to spray a 150 off the line and then another 100 on top of that on a stock bottom end. Hope it works.

OK, it didn't work. Just go to www.southtexasracing.com. Click on Message Board on the left hand menu. Scroll down till you see the pic of a T/A with fire shooting out under it.

Not sure how much damage. The guys say it was just a head gasket but I heard a loud pop from the stands. Never heard a head gasket do that.

Headgaskets dont shoot sparks/flying debris/flames out from under the car. I bet the inital damage occured during launch, it immediately hit the limiter(probably on the 150 shot) then by the time he hooked with the addition of the 100shot it was all over.

That's what I said about the sparks too!!! But they're challenging already for this coming Friday night. Then again, they probably have another motor just waiting or they're fast workers. Took about half an hour to clean up the track.

First off he should have just aborted after the launch. Once he hit the limiter the run was ****. Second and most important instead of spreading the crap all the way down the track he should have stopped so the clean up guys would only have half a track to clean up.

But hey just my .02

The cleaning crew was cleaning up all night. Seems like everyone was breaking. I know he should've let off after the launch but he was racing that silver ram air for spots on the board so he didn't give up. I'll give him props on staying with it. PILL IT 'TILL YOU KILL IT!!!
