4000 stall

Default 4000 stall

Whats up guys.
I am trying to find out how would driving with 4.10 gear,4000 stall be like ? What i am worryin about is ... rpm at my cruising speed 45 - 50 mph ? Cuz i dont want it to be at like 60000 rpm goin 10 mph !!! (beein sarcastic here ) Any ideas ?

You probably should put this in the Automatic Trans or Drivetrain forums to get more responses.

Since you asked, 4.10s are probably pretty steep for a street A4. Maybe stay around the same size stall with 3.73s

I have the tci 4000 and 373's its fine ..i drive 35 miles to the track in the summer and about that distance to work on the highway..the rpm 's if i remember right ..3200 or so at 75mph...if my memory has not faded... winter sucks here and have not drivin the car since november....

98ss a4..lots of stuff....

That sounds pretty good !
Right now with 4.10s and no stall im 3000 rmp at 70mph.

Cruising at 70 mph, your verter will be locked up. In that situation, the rpm's will be no different with a stock stall than with a 4000 stall.

Yeah your right going 70mph should be locked and no different rpms.
