results are in!!!question bout $$ race....srt-10 truck(stock+intake) vs 98z28(bolton) my friend just called and got challenged to race by an srt 10 truck with intake.
he is a 98z28 with headers, intake, exhaust , gears (this guy )
who do you think will win???
srt-10 trucks run mid 14s right????
i told my friend to race for $50, should be interesting. i would tell him to race for way more, but u just never know what ppl got. if u have the money to buy an srt-10 truck, then you might have money to mod it. then again u cant do much to the viper engine for cheap.
update of outcome in couple of hours.

Your friend better pack a lunch.Those trucks are pretty damb fast with some traction.Hope they race from a dead stand still.I hate seeing any vechile whoop up on a LS1.

I ran a brand new srt-10 with just exhaust about two weeks ago. From frist i was infront by a lil then he started to come back. Top of third he had me by about a car. He was not a great shifter either since he missed fourth so we ended the race there. I underestimated the truck thought i thought it was high 13s def. not since i ran a 13.1 and he still got me.

A guy pulled a 12.7 stock. They are just a tad slower then a stock Cobra from a roll maybe the Srt-10 trucks are just as fast as Cobras from a roll stock...havent ran into another one so I dont have any other Ram trucks to compare it with that I have ran.

The results are in a i ( friend of thread starter) raced the srt10 truck [intake and exhaust] tonihgt. We went from a dig 4 times to about 95 each race, a best out of 3 series... First race we went and at around 95mph i was ahead very slightly, it felt as if i had the tiniest of pulls on him tho, Second we went again and it was even, Third i had no traction and we tied again, and Fourth we both hooked but it was the same outcome as the first, i started pulling very very slight up top. From what i saw, i believe he matched me in second and i slightly pull him in third, keep in mind im a4.
The outcome of this race left me astonished, he was a pretty good driver also. Id say we both hooked equally well, and be aware of these monsters
