Default 1.8 Rockers

What would 1.8 rockers do for a bolt-on LS1? I don't really know anything about rockers, just looking for info.
Thanks,
Tony

There are countless threads that have been over this with all details listed. Do a search under 1.8 and you'll have hours of reading.
FYI - I put Harlan Sharp 1.8's on mine and I can feel a "little" something past 4,000 rpm, but nothing special. Typical gains are 9hp at the wheels above 4,500. For the money, My ASP underdrive pulley and Shaner S3 have been the best bolt-ons so far. A "VHP Boss 2" cam is in the works now.

I got a smoother, quieter valvetrain with my Harland Sharps- and about 5hp up top. I quess I don't have to worry about my stock rockers coming apart either (needle bearings). But this is not a great performance mod.

Thanks! IF you had to spend the money over again, do you think it's worth it? I know there are a hundred cams to choose from, but since I am limited in choice because of the rockers I have- I think the Boss 2 wil be the most I can get away with while still being "stock driveable".

I did the same thing with my truck, added the rockers it really didn't make a difference. Then got a cam that worked well with the rockers, Comp 216/220 and everything is good now. Next is a set of heads. I would do a cam before and skip on the rockers.

Yes h/c install was worth it, runs extremely well now, torque curve is very broad.
