Part number for spintech muffler used by mufflex?
I searched and couldn't find my anwser. Can anyone tell me which muffler mufflex uses in their 4in single catback? I'm thinking about having a local shop custom make me a 4in single exhaust but I need the spintech part number. Thanks alot.

well I called mufflex and the guy was a dick about it and wouldn't give me the part number. I called spintech and he gave it to me without a problem.
Part # 464sc is what he gave me and its $150 plus shipping
I guess the guy at mufflex didn't want to give it to me since they wanted $195 plus shipping for it. Oh well I wasn't gonna order it from them anyway.

My 4" Spintech sounded really good on my 02 Z. I still had the cats on it, and had the dual 3" outlets. It just wasn't very loud. Good sound though. Maybe with an ORY or gutted cats you'd get some more sound out of it.

Its gonna sound like this car but deeper with the 4" muffler. There are several ultraflo muffers you can use. The bigger the quieter. If you go with the longest 9" round ultraflo the car wont be much louder than stock when cruising around but at wot it will roar. At least thats how it is with my car with macs and 3" ultraflo muffer.

My Spintech sounds great with my dual 2 1/2" thru the Spintech X pipe.....good sound, no "rap" to it......no "motorboat" sound like some systems get with an LS-1
