ok here is the colors to choose from.... Sunset Orange, Torch Red, or Candy Red, im going to be putting on ZR-1 wheels in either chrome or black depending on color chosen. give me your thoughts and opinions. I am a painter by trade and will be doing all the work myself, just cant choose color. I like the Sunset Orange but im not sure how it will look on a C4.

on the sunset orange. You wanted opinions right? I LOVE the the '84 to '90 version of the C-4. I don't think the sunset is good for that body style. It'll look like a used diaper I want to buy a low mile '90 and I'd love to paint a metallic silver base coat with clear candy red or black as the top coat.
Deep red paint with subtle silver "under the glass". DAMN!

I paint cars for a living, I can do that for about $9500 less than that. Opps did I say that?
I was wondering about the whole C4 Sunset Orange thing too, but look on page 52 of the new GM Hightech and tell me what you thing of that SOM with the black wheels ( I'm going to have black ZR-1's)

I have that mag, nice color, but it's "dated" and is all over the place. Kind of like the avacado color appliances of the '70s. After everone has seen it for a few years it will be last year's poop. Same thing for the black rim thing- no dissrespect to the people that have dropped major coin on their's already, but STOP!!! To me it's a sickness that is similar to the fart cans on ricers.
Go with something timeless, nice proven time honored colors, with some chrome ZR1's, nice exhaust tips, maybe a cheap Powerdyne supercharger, DONE!

ok here it is....Sunset Orange Metallic with Orange Pearl mixed in with it. I've made several test panels using a several varietys mixed in with SOM or mixed in with the first coat of Clear. Tried red pearl, russet pearl, white pearl, and orange. so far orange pearl in the paint came out the best. Stay tuned...
