Default How much to deck LS1 heads for 10.5 CR?

I have stock LS1 heads and looking for a 10.5 CR, how much do I need them decked? And, will I need 7.35" pushrods or will stock lenghts work?

Thanks

~.015ish should get you that much on a 5.7 head.

7.4's should be fine, but the true way will be calculating the base circle of your cam into the equation. I ran 7.4 pushrods with heads cut .025 on a 230/232 cam.

Thanks Damian.

I'll be using a baby cam, nothing bigger than a 222/222 .550 114+2

I've been out of the head/cam train thought since I sold my modded SS, I used to know all this info by hard.

I believe that a 0.040>0.042 gasket with no milling will do the same.
and give you a better quench.
