you know what a SLICK is right? drag slick, road slick, etc.....
the BFGs just don't have enough dry traction......wet traction is pointless....

yes i know what a slick is his original post was very vague. I HIGHLY doubt anyone wants to run a slicks on their daily so it could be taken many different ways. And since I have never seen a 18 slick.....only as big as 16"

I'm more than willing to do a slick on a daily driver (its AZ....350 days out of the year its sunny). I'm desperate for more traction but don't want to give up the 18s (I know I know.....want everything ).

As far as a slick on a 18" wheel. I think BFG is going to be the best your going to get. I one time saw some Hoosier in a 18, but not only will they be outragous, but they are going to be hard to find. I'm trying to track down some Hoosiers right now for a guy and if I find anything in a 18 I'll let you know a price and availability.

BFG's make the only 18" drag radial that Im aware of. They'll burn up quick with the hot pavement you have down there, they might last 2 months if you don't do any burnouts, they real soft and sticky that's the tradeoff.
Just get another set of rims to throw on when you need traction at the strip.

see but thats the problem.....I'm not worried about "when I go to the strip" because I never do.......I need the traction on the street for day in/day out driving....I have the BFGs on the car now and have about 5K miles without any real noticable wear........still not soft enough I guess.....
