Default computer problems!!! help!!

i have a 2000 z28 with the asa cam, long tubes and ls1 edit performed by stacy at fbodymotorsports. i tried to get the car inspected (obdII) and they cant get the computer to read. its like as if it is just not there or somthing. but the car runs GREAT. what should i do???

Change your lighter fuse. It is on the same circuit as the ALDL port under the dash.

As he said.. had this problem when getting my codes scanned at auto zone. Turned out to be the lighter fuse.

In the fuse panel on the driver's side of the dash. Open your door and look directly at the side of the dash.
